I know jack diddly squat about computers, but I'll have a go...

I thought the point of PDF files is that for the most part they are READ ONLY. That means other people can read your PDF file but they can't easily get it into something where they can make changes to it and pass it off as their own work.

Not that I thought that was what you were going to do with it... But you see you *could* do that with it if you could get it into ppt. and make changes to it... I think that is the general idea of why you want to put something in PDF format rather than HTML which is copy and pasteable into word.

So...

What you need isn't just the
Adobe Acrobat Reader
Which only *reads* PDF files...
You would be wanting the
Adobe Acrobat Writer
Or maybe it is the
Adobe Acrobat Reader / Writer
WHich is fairly expensive apparantly...
But that is because it would make most peoples life a hell of a lot easier if one could cut and paste and copy and edit other peoples PDF documents
