Oh Amy, please don't go. I am sorry the boards haven't been the comfort they used to be. But please know that you have certainly been a comfort and a joy to many people here. I am tearing up again, and am realizing just how hard good-byes are, and always have been, for me. And here I thought I was suffering from AD apathy - HA! I remember every time we moved I was always so surprised that my mom, with her trade-mark sunglasses on, never shed a tear as we drove away. She finally told me, when me moved for the last time, that she wore the sunglasses to hide the tears. Very effective I learned as I got older. Time to get out the sunglasses I guess :-(
I just wanted to share with you something I had read that touched me deeply: "Maybe we will never see the reason or the beauty in this life, but we need to trust in the benevolence of the Universe and, in especially challenging times, try to believe that eventually the veil will be parted and we will understand."
May the veil lift for you very soon so that you may see and experience the beauty that is not only in you but is all around you.
Amy, you take very, very good care of yourself. And, as an old boss of mine used to say - Don't let the buggers grind you down!!! You are a special person, with much to offer. Believe in yourself, love yourself and be very good to you.
