Why do many doctors have such bad handwriting?

Posted by Shy_Girl on May 11, 2005, at 0:39:49

I was just looking over some notes doctors have written and noticed that they all have very bad handwriting. I can barely make out what it is they have written... Why are doctors able to get away with this? Maybe doctors have a certain personality that gives this this trait? I think it is more likely they had to learn to write extremely fast during medical school. :-P Just a wild guess.

It's not fair...I wanna use illegable handwriting...but I can't, my work won't be graded if the TA's can't read it. :-P

N.B. Not generalizing here...just observations
:o)
