no problem with taking food away or dominance. He is second banana to the older female dog. She dominates him but the humans in the house don't have any issues with him that way. He sleeps on the back of the sofa which is above human shoulder height but doesn't seem to be 'funny' about being up there.

he has reacted both ways depending on if he wants to play or snuggle.
