>>It amazed me how loudly a few people protested her wishes when the vast majority of the public understood her husband's love. It's one thing to disagree, but it seemed some people were taking the position that if you don't agree with them, you are aiding and abetting to murder (their words, not mine). Well, the courts ruled repeatedly in her favor, the public overwhelmingly understood her wishes and her husband stood by her regardless death threats and withering abuse. But these protesters seemed unable to understand there could possibly be any valid point of view other than their own.

I guess all I can say is it is subjective. But, we can all have our 'own' opinions and we can all speak 'our' own minds/opinions loudly if we so choose to.

>>One thing that confused me ... protesters kept talking about "her family" ... "the family". It reminded me of Brittany Spears saying she is anxious to "start a family". Uh, didn't she just get married? Some people seem to know all about when life begins and when it is supposed to end ... they are all about the sanctity of the family, but somehow they just don't appreciate that when two people are legally married, they are a family.

Again, possibly subjective...but is it legal to have two 'families' per se? He is either married to Terri or he is with his fiance and has children with her?? YES?
As for the family....parents, siblings..compared with a husband who has a new women in his life and has kids, well I think if I were Terri I would want my parents making the decision...whatever the decision is. i was brought into the world by them and if the time came when someone needed to make a decision based on whether I die or live...I would say the people who brought me into this world can do the deciding and not the man who may be involved in a new family now. But I would hope that there would be enough compassion among all my family including my husband (my new family) that this would NEVER EVER be an issue. Just my opinion :-)
