Does anyone know anything about carpal tunnel?

Could you take a look?

I haven't been diagnosed, but it seemed like a good guess. Now I'm not so sure and I'm worried.

I guess my question is if a doctor would think I'm silly for bothering him or her, and which doctor should I bother? My neurologist (who treats me for suspected narcolepsy)? My internist? The doctor who did my mother's carpal tunnel surgery?

It's definitely limited to my right hand and maybe my lower arm from the elbow down. :(
