the truth is, that even those who call it the talking lamp watch it!
It's funny, but our own lives don't change enough day by day to keep conversations going forever! But when we sit down together to watch a re-run, we discuss when we saw it the first time, where we were in our lives, what we were doing, who was there, too. And when we watch new shows, we laugh or cry or are amazed, or are bored- but together.
And for you, it keeps you home from being lonely when there is no adult for you to communicate with (your fingers are tired from typing on babble, for instance...-smile-) And what we experience (whether through reading or tv watching, or radio listening) we constantly absorb. Accepting thoughts that go along with our core beliefs, but may change our opinions- or rejecting thoughts for the opposite reason.
Whatever we experience, whichever medium, we are learning SOMETHING- thus evolving. (Even if it's "what terrible acting"!)
I was attempting to be funny in my previous post and sorely failed- sorry...... I am failing at a lot of things lately, please don't take it personally...
