Can you give your cold to your cat??

I've been suffering with a bad cold, and so I've tried not to kiss my cats on the face. I don't want to give them my illness. However I was just now kissing one of my cats on the face, mainly due to the fact that he's irresistible. See why: http://atlanta.craigslist.org/pet/57684531.html
