Your family might not understand, and get mad. Your sister might not understand and act up. But everything is said and done, all will know what you did is right and needed. There's a chance that no one will even say thank you or you were right. But I think everyone here... all us 'feelers' know it's right. You know it's right.

You are so strong, all my thoughts will be with you on Friday.

She, of course, has no car, no money, no driver's license even, and is not working- out on Workman's Comp and dealing with lawyers to get a botched surgery redone at the hospital's expense.

She needs to stop partying and pull herself together like an adult (I do recognize, however, that she needs a great deal of therapy to get past the 14 year old she still is emotionally). If I can do it; she can do it!

> She laughed at the fact that "the Black Sheep of the family" would be "back in town" and I told her not to be ridiculous- in leaving town so many years ago she passed down the title to me. A black sheep has to be around to actually BE the scapegoat...

> I know that in inviting her and purchasing her ticket I will p*ss off everyone in the family. Maybe even Dad. But they both need to see each other before he passes away (not in terms of forgiveness/recrimintations- just in terms of closure).

> Yes, Susan47, it is very difficult to be the "feeler" in a family of "thinkers".....
