> I read a post recently in which the person used the word "crap". It went through the Babble filter just fine. I recently used the word "f*rt", and it was smashed with an *. So, I found that odd. I find crap to be a much more substantial word than f*rt. To me, f*rt is a much lighter, airier, malorderous, but less offensive word. So, I checked Merriam-Webster to find:
Funny how people's taste is, I hate the word f*rt, though I still find it funny that it gets asterisked, and I hate the word horny, I hate it more than any swear words, and the word crap doesn't really bother me, neither does f*ck if not used excessively.
Now please don't anyone think that I'm offended by anyone's use of the words f*rt, or horny, it's just a personal quirk. But I'd prefer any of those words over cutesy substitutions which make me want to wretch. My parents used to say "make whoopie" Now *That's* offensive.
