Lol well my guess is they were bored and tired of say their governments and junk and THOUGHT they were going to better places but um soo not so....granted we have lots of crops and the US is known for most of the worlds grain and junk but I personally would rather have good weather :) much of the year it is nice..its the icky winter I hate..I lived in Canada for a while too it was about the same as here near Toronto. What kinda stuff do you like to do?? We have lots to do I just bore easy and or hate winter sports and junk

In Wellington it is pretty windy and it is also on a fault line (lots of earthquakes). In Rotorua bits of the ground violently spew up hot mud. You could literally be boiled alive if you fell into a thermal pit. Warm, though. No snow :-) And here. Well here there is NOTHING TO DO WHATSOEVER. Boring I say, boring as hell
