day melted

good evening
it is 10:37 pm pacific
where did the day go?
it melted on me
like so much sugar in the rain.

i did get my groceries today
i rode my bike in the rain
and walked in the rain to the other store
so i can account for 2.5 hours of today
where did the rest of the day go?

bye bye time
may you melt away like dali's clocks
