silk soymilk is pretty decent, if you get the flavored stuff. if you're cooking, the plain is also good. (the unsweetened is only for the hardcore soy lover.)
boca foods are pretty good "meat substitutes," really resembling what they're supposed to be.
some vegans go so far as to avoid refined sugar, since animal bone char is used for filtration of impurities. (none remains in the sugar when it's finished, however.) sugar in the raw is safe, though.
there's also a powdered egg substitute out there that works pretty well for cooking. ener-g, i think is the brand. i've made some good cakes and cookies with it.
there are even vegan gravy mixes. (the "low fat" gravies are generally vegan, actually. pillsbury has a mix that's not bad.) being able to have mashed potatoes and gravy makes me feel less abnormal for my diet sometimes. :)
