Obama is very exciting. However, we can't know how he would have faired against his initial opponent, conservative Jack Ryan, because Ryan resigned in disgrace over sex scandal revelations.

I think he will be a political force in the future if he proves that he can work with both the good guys and the bad guys in congress.
