As you may have deduced by now, I'm kind of fascinated with the whole cyber identity thing. Are we different from our real world personalities here? I guess that's why the birthday party strikes me as interesting and yet dangerous. Would Dinah, if that's even your real name, want to have a visual association with the Dinah we all know here? Would you act differently in person? Anonimity is such an important part of PB culture. Dispite all the protestations over rules, being free to speak of things don't share at work or even tell people we love and trust is part of the appeal for me.

As for Gus, we purchased him because PWDs are hypoallergenic and my daughter and wife are allergic to dogs. He was supposed to be just a pet, small and having too active a temperment. He grew into a wonderful animal who is very social and has a stunning silky coat. The show world as characturized by the movie is a strange place and we didn't fit in well. But Gus seemed to like it. He finished quickly. He has been in pet mode all summer. Last month we received two requests for him to stud. Last week he mated with two cute bitches who weren't sure at first that he was worthy. I must say that Bob's party won't be nearly as awkward as holding your dog who is tied to another dog for half an hour as you make small talk with the other stranger owner. LOL. Dogs are so cool, Dinah. I can't imagine why I have waited so long to add this kind of love and companionship to my life.
As far as identifying myself, I suppose it isn't wise to share AKC info if one wants to remain anonimous.
