My brother in law and his wife are adopting a baby boy born tonight. They are pretty tired, happy, and probably scared to death as this all happened much much quicker than they thought. They will get to take him from the hospital on Sunday night, hopefully, although there is still the 30 day period where it could be reversed.
But at least this time (compared to when the told us about it 2 weeks ago), I wasn't sad for me, just happy for them. Yea!
