Where have all the flowers gone?

My secretary's young boyfriend is in Iraq and he lost part of his squadron to a car bomb yesterday. He sent an email saying this is the song they want us all to be singing. To remind everyone that real people are dying...that war is terrible, especially when you've never been away from home before and you are only 20 years old. He said he is OK and determined to be brave and do his duty. And he then he told her to go hug his mom for him because his arms aren't long enough and he was sure that she was scared for him. Besides, he said, if he could reach, he doesn't think he could ever let go. And he wondered if his mom was enough to ever make him feel safe again.
It made me so sad. So let's all sing this for Aaron and include him in your prayers tonight.
