Vet costs have gotten so high lately that I have come to the inescapable conclusion that I can't afford to keep the number of pets I'm used to keeping. Which is fine, and I'll adapt. But it does nothing about the several dogs over the age of 12 that I already own.
I don't understand why the costs have increased so much relative to inflation. :(
I think I found a member of my vet's practice who is willing to give scripts for my enormous monthly vet meds rather than force me to buy them from the practice. That will cut my costs significantly. I'm just not positive he'll do it on a regular basis, or if he just did it this time because he didn't have any stock on hand.
