I can understand your hesitation. I too was hesitant about what to write about myself when I first joined the board. And I didn't know how they would react to my posts. Here's my advice though: the more you post the more comfortable yuo will be posting. If that makes any sense. Becasue you will get to know the board and the people here and see that we are really nice good supportive people. Hope that helps!
