One thing that has helped me imensely when it came to fear and anxiety is buddhism philosophy ... books by Pema chodron and similar texts are very "accessible" and quick to read and can help you gain another perspective on your fears and help you learn to look at them "from the outside" to better understand them and accept them rather than simply have them rule your thoughts.
Those books also often suggest meditation / breathing techniques which can trully be usefull when you need to relax.
