Hello, I just have this need to write and tell someone whats happening in my life. In a nutshell: My mother is married to a narcisist freak, she lets him control her and every aspect of her life and her kids..I went through a bad divorce and they (my mom & the narcisist) helped me financially and moved me to where they lived. My mothers husband has a business thats run out of their home and said i should work for him. Which i have for the last year and a half. Its been awful because of the NPD he has-(he really could be a case study) I have never been around someone who can ruin lives like he does! But anyway. I told my mom I couldnt deal with it anymore. At first she was supportive. Then, yesterday, I went to p/u my daughter from school & he freaked because I wasnt in the office and there was a missed call!! So, he basically said i needed to find another job! (i had already secretly interviewed w/ a company monday) So, I guess this is a good thing for me. I have enough of my own issues and dont need to be around someone with NPD. My mom, by the way, has been brainwashed by him over the years and thinks money is more important than life itself. (Mr. Narcisist makes good money) So, now she feels I am throwing away any "inheritance" money because now there will be ill feelings between everyone. She just doesnt get the picture..I dont care about money, I care about being happy. I guess she will continue to live her life in misery (he treats her really bad too) but she wants to keep those credit cards and her BMW..I just dont get it!!
