I'm sorry to hear that. Sometimes I can't, either, and it's so hard to deal with. (Let's just say that I would not have been able to graduate from high school were it not for some very sympathetic teachers.) Usually I can focus on schoolwork and it's a useful distraction, but it takes a good couple of hours of worry and procrastination before I get to that point. I've never figured out how to skip the middle step and just get back to work. It's strange.
