I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I know how scared I was when it happened to me several years ago. I also went through the culposcopy (sp?) and coninization. One thought...both times I had abnormal pap smears, I also was diagnosed with a yeast infection. Having this can affect your PAP. Before you have the procedure, check to see if you have one as well. If so, it may be useful to wait, clear the infection, and have a repeat PAP. I wish I had, as it would have saved me pain and money.Either way, please take care. It stinks, I know.
