Oh, GG, I've done that too! Doh! I don't have a dog, but I did lock the car with the engine running. Fortunately, it wasn't too far from home, and it was a Saturday. So I called my husband, who biked over and unlocked it for me. And made me feel like a complete idiot.
A long time ago, when I was 18, my best friend was getting married, and in the parking lot of the church he locked his keys in his truck while it was running, right before the wedding. We were running late, so he had to just leave it running through the ceremony. LOL!
