There are several acupressure points that work really well for headaches.
The best one to do for yourself is in your hand. (You aren't pregnant, right? DON'T do this if you are. It is also a labor point!) Take your primary hand (it will be the strongest) and place your thumb over the "v" on your other hand, between the thumb and the index finger. You should be able to feel the base of the bones on the back of the hand, sort of near the wrist. Firmly hold this spot putting pressure on the v with your strong thumb. I curl my other fingers around under the hand and add pressure to the fatty part of the thumb. Hold this for 5 minutes (it should hurt but not been really painful)let go for 5 minutes and hold it again. It works well for headaches and toothaches.
The other pressure points are on the base of the neck on either side. Have someone put gentle pressure on both sides at at the same time while your chin touches your chest. Not rubbing. Gentle consistent pressure.
It really does help. There is another pressure point at the base of the shin and many on the feet.
good luck
