> So long as you're doing this for positive reasons, I think what you are doing is great. My house used to be cluttered with things I didn't even know I had. I had always been a bit of a pack rat, but back in September of 2003 I started to "cull the herd", and nowadays I'm much more organized and I'm sooooo happy for it.
I'm doing this because I have to move from Nebraska to New Hampshire because I'm unemployed and cant afford to live here any more. (My parents are in NH-- so I can live there for free for a little while, because the cost of living in NE is certainly cheaper than in NH!) But I know what you mean... it makes me so sad to do this, but in a way it's so LIBERATING!
> You'll be amazed at how the atmosphere of your home changes. Open space has a beauty of its own. It also helps make you feel much more organized.I look forward to having a new apartment again where i can start fresh and furnish it how i like... and preserve the open space.
> Best of luck to you, I know how hectic this can be, especially when you try to pack it all into one day. Do what you can, and don't become discouraged at the things you didn't accomplish, take pride and enjoyment from the things that you do accomplish.
you have a good point. people so easily dwell on the negative.. never think about th epositive. i'm guilty as charged. :)
