My girlfriend Bonnie taught me that one and I have gotten much from it for many years. It can seem threatening to some especially for someone who is looking for something to stay the same "forever". I use it not to be hurtful but to allow for change as something possible.
I'm wishing you peace Scott. And by the way speaking of my friend Bonnie she is also polyamorous and has been for a long time. I believe it to be possible from an "ideal" standpoint but know that I, personally, couldn't "share" or be "shared".
