...noise makers! Unless you have too many of those in your life already! Then you get to say "Shut up" with no apology. Presents alone are not enough -- rake in the little things all day. Tell people in lines that it's your birthday, so you don't have to wait. Tell the server as you grab lunch and that special dinner that it is your b-day, so you get extras. It's all about you! But don't turn your back, or waitstaff may be comin a-clappin' with an embarrassing song and a slice of something deliciously evil and gooey.
Be glad you're not a part of my group -- we have a standing joke that it unexpectedly becomes someone's b-day many times when we are out for dinner or drinks, just so the rest of us can enjoy their embarrassment. How will it be pulled off this time, with no one getting suspicious? We are pros. I once even phoned in a request to embarrass a particular patron on such a "faux" birthday, when she was on vacation and made the mistake of calling me while waiting for her entree to arrive.
Wishing you some good stuff, and maybe a gag or two as well! :- )
