I do love the IRS web site. There was nothing quite like running all over the place looking for the right forms on the afternoon of April 15th. Then finally giving up and calling that one person you knew would have stashed some extra extensions and arranging to meet them in some out of the way place.
And the midnight post office run is traditional. For years that was my family's traditional get together spot. Those years I get the stuff in the mail at 4:55 I spend the rest of the evening feeling somewhat adrift.
