Why doesn't your internist like the idea of giving you Wellbutrin? I suppose some people might be hesitant because it can increase anxiety...but I started at a very low dose and didn't have much of a problem with it.
Sometimes it boggles my mind that doctors don't like to prescribe things when it could be potentially beneficial for their patient.
Keep Prozac on your back burner. You can start as low as either 10 mgs or 5 mgs (I forget which) and increase as slowly as you need to. It was a terrific med for me and I found it to be very energizing as well.
