Hi Sienna,

I was emotionally abused by my older brother throughout my childhood. All my parents did was say leave your sister alone when he bullied me. He didn't hit me, but his words hit hard.

My parents have been arguing with each other non-stop for over 50 years. As a kid I used to beg them to get a divorce, but they probably didn't hear me.

What I'm working on in therapy is to stop blaming myself for what happened when I was little. I need to forgive myself, that's more important than confronting my brother. It's also hard.
