Mrs. C. - I agree with Vandy. I have a degree in journalism that I sort of use, but really want to be a special ed teacher. I started my special ed degree back in the early 90s but quit when I had my daughter and got divorced. Once she's older I plan to go back and finish that degree! I figure I'll be 50 whether I have it or not, so why not try to get it :-). There will always be a need for special ed teachers & counselors!!

Please don't fret. I promise it won't help you feel any better. I also know it's not likely that you'll hear me but it won't keep me from trying to tell you what I hope you will understand. "When" questions are not really answerable except by fortune tellers and I believe them to be mistaken at best and liars at worst. I can swear to the following and its the best I can do. You will bring an end to the anxiety yourself. You will be very proud that you've done it. You are the only one who can help you. I can love you and sympathize and I do. I can support you and pray for you and I do. I can cheer for you and scold you when it's necessary and I will but you're the only person who can save you. I will tell you some things you can try and I'm sure it will make Dr. Bob happy at the same time. I'm reading "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff" by Dr. Richard Carlson. It says things we all need to hear, especially those of us who are anxious or depressed. It's cheap, too! But it warms the soul and makes you feal better when you are anxious or depressed if you let it.
Just have faith. It's something that will really help. And it's something you can do for yourself. If it does any good, remember we are all here for you. And you never need apologize for your cry for help. We thank you for loving and trusting us enough to share it.

LynneDa,
Oh my gosh! You just made me cry. I am so excited for you. That story was so inspiring. I know how you mean, I do not think I will ever be "the old me" again but I do hope to get to a place where I am comfortable, happy and know who I am. I have been changed by this experience and used to be really resentful, I know now that it is just a painful growing experience. I cannot wait till the day that I wake up and sigh because I am not having to struggle and fight as hard. I know this will happen and I am working my way there. You did it girl! Thanks so much!!!
God Bless,
Lexy
PS...My boyfriend and I have already decided we are going to play an early Aprils fool on our families and call them from Vegas to tell them we are married. However, when the big day really comes, I want to be able to enjoy it to the fullest so we are taking our time and getting back to "us". I think this has been as hard on him as it has on me!!
