You speak a lot of truths. You would almost think the people/gov is determining how to breed a stronger race. Prejudices are strong and hard to battle.

My brother is sicker than I am and has a harder time keeping a job for a period of time. He is fired regularly (also tampers with his meds). I just don't want to keep changing jobs like him. I don't want to get in over my head in jobs with too much pressure.

I hope I have that job, I am waiting to hear. I have had only had 2 jobs in nearly 20 years, but have spent 3 out of the last 4 1/2 years not employed at all out of fear of perfomance. I don't want to apply for a job unless I think it is going to be something I can assess that is not beyond my stress level.

I certainly don't like empty refrigerators.

With my disability from the Post Office, I have almost an adequate amout to provide at the poverty level for myself and my 13 yr old son. I want to supplement to keep my dog-paddling above water.

I had taken a job finally that was within a block of my home at a Dept. store as a fitting room attendant. That was not career money, but enough to supplement. This sounded like something I could do and not worry. Well, they realized I was capable of more and before I knew it I was crosstrained on every postition of the store and training others. I was paged from one duty to another. I finally got to where I was past my stress boundary and eventually lost the job.

Point being, I have to be careful in what I apply for and/or make sure that there is no risk of it getting out of control.
