hmmm ... i have never been treated like a den mom
sometimes i'm just one of the boys - probably because i drink and cuss and out-geek them on some topics.
sometimes i'm the secretary - doing all the social calls and writing and "girly" things.
sometimes i'm invisible - but that was just at one job where everybody else worshipped at the altar of the golf cart and i just don't believe in golf.
but never a den mom - probably because i am usually younger than my coworkers.
given all of the above i'd rather be one of the boys. but i think that's a topic for another day.
i don't hate my job, per se, so i won't apply to your club. however, i do hate working in general, and would like to return to school (and stay there permanently this time) if it wasn't for a little matter of $$$. i liked university and i would be thrilled to return.
