I agree that the handmade ones are usually the most significant to a shrink- a framed poem, a thank you in neeedlepoint or even just a letter expressing how much your shrink has helped you. Anything more (and this from someone who gave a bottle of Dom Perignon (sp?) when manic- see last year's posts?) usually isn't accepted.
