Sometimes the pharmacy will say that a refill is denied, but it may be just your insurance. The insurance will tell the pharmacy that they won't pay for it because it is too soon. You can still purchace the med without the insurance paying for it, and you can purchase only the number of capsules / pills, etc. that you need. After you get things fixed with the doctor, you can possibly get reimbursed by your insurance company.
It's worth a try.
