IntertwiningThrough a fine crack
silver glitter slips into another dimension.
Reflections from its journey remind me of my past,
remind me of what has passed
and what a fake I must be.
You drove me to this madness,
I chose to continue the sadness
lying under the winter stars
lying to the mirror I face.
You aren’t what you represented
I’m not what I presented.
You are the perpetrator,
I am the masquerader.
Unlike the snow escaping,
I slip into the crack
and find myself caught in the glass,
as you turn me upside down.Poet
