> Ever read "The Dancing Wu Li Masters" by Gary Zukav ??If I may break in here, I would heartily recommend "The Cosmic Code" by Heinz Pagels and "Elegant Universe" by Brian Greene. Both assume virtually no prior knowledge but take you fairly deep.
"The Dreams of Reason" by Heinz Pagels and "Complexity: The Emerging Science..." by Waldrop are good if you are into that non-linear chaotic stuff. DoR also has fascinating discussions on the nature of mind and the philosophy of science.
