Hmmm... I don't know the British word for it. It's welts caused by an allergic reaction (or I think it can be caused by stress).
Is it a sign you're getting older when your hands hurt worse than any other body part after you do physical work? I wish I had heated mittens.
I kind of wish we had less yard. We never go out there. We all prefer inside to outside activities. And we deliberately bought a house with a large back yard for my two very large dogs who liked to run. Well, they're both gone. I've got two medium sized couch potatoes. And I wish I had a tiny tiny yard, maybe on the corner.
I think all this yard work is my commitment not to move. I've been trying to convince my husband to move about ten miles closer to town, which is near my son's school and closer to his work and my therapist. It's only ten miles, but it's a thirty to fortyfive minute ten miles. But my husband likes this neighborhood better, and wants to stay in this house pretty much for good. And to think, I once wanted to live in the country and commute!!!
Ok, obviously I'm now talking too much! I sure do like the up-swings in cyclothymia.
