Well the answer is yes. To everything. Of course I want to talk to him, but I'm trying to support the moving on with my life side, which I think would preclude that. I guess I'm just trying to 'buy time' right now---because if I make sweeping declarations they tend to put me in a panic, and end up backfiring.

I'd like to just say no. I'm hoping that with time and strength it will become easier. You're absolutely right; everytime I talk to him it does put me in a tizzy. So I'm taking the chicken way out of talking to him--for the moment.

I can completely relate to your therapist story; I don't know what it is that makes me stay in relationships long past the expiration date.

All for now.
