Its true, he broke all but one of my favorite little things, and yet they were all as you said "oddball" things, and not expensive so he never would have known they were favorites, and it was always an accident.
He ended up being a terrible abuser, though he wasn't at that time. I don't claim to know how the universe works, but I can't help but think it was trying to tell me something early on.
