Well managers from the new company (let's call it a large telecommunications company that you've heard of) came in to speak to us this week. They are offering all worker bees a job with the new company, and claim to expect to do the same with managers as well.
I got a 'verbal offer' of employment at the same job/same pay. So I feel ok. I guess it will be interesting to see what things are like when the new management is in.
On a plus note, because this is a huge company, there are better benefits and discounts for its employees. Like, very cheap long distance.
