....thank you for your kind words in e-mail today. It was a shock to the system to say the least and I'm still icing my lip several hours after the incident.
At least the process of the legal issues begin tomorrow with the women's crisis center in my town.
The words really really did make a difference in the shocked irrational state I was in after such an out of the blue assault.
I appreciate the kindness and wisdom you have all shared.

~A. still shocked but beginning to see that this was his true colours coming out and anyone that hits a woman (or any person of any gender) just shows they are an insecure coward.
