I was up early too. For a Saturday. I need to be. I have "must-do" errands, like depositing a check so I don't bounce any more of my own!! Actually, they don't bounce, the bank pays them, but then charges me 30 bucks, which only makes my negative balance more profound. Sigh.

And to the post office to mail the very late Mothers Day card. Sigh. I guess the phone call will help compensate.

But, yes, so much of the country is deluged with stormy weather of late. For some, it is life altering--death and destruction. For others, like me, it is simply wet, wet, and more wet. And dark. Very dark. Well, at least I haven't had to water the garden.

I am impressed you are showered and all. I go straight for my first round of meds and then a bee line to the computer for some games and babble. And then, typically, I blink and it is mid-afternoon! My weekend trance.

Hopefully, today, I will pull myself away from this lifeline and get myself dressed and out the door to the bank. And all the other things that must be done.

I could read a book, too, though. I am now reading "Finding Flow" and sorry, but I am not going to be able to spell the author's last name, but his first name is Mihaly. What I really want to know is how to *pronounce* the author's last name. Why it matters is beyond me but I'd like to know. Maybe amazon should include phonetic renderings of the authors' names in cases like this. Anyway, I had read a few chapters of this a couple of years ago, and then lent it to a friend who really needed it ( I thought it was RIGHT up his alley) and he just returned it to me (He like it a lot), so I decided to read it. It is really interesting.

I'm also browsing (I don't have the patience to read it straight through) through "Odd Girl Out" by Rachel Simmons (that I can pronounce). It is about girls being mean to each other and the impact that has.

The storm is heating up, thunder and lightening. Maybe that is my cue to log off the computer?

I'm glad you went out. You sound a bit more energetic. I hope you have a good day.
