Hi Jim,
You've given me some things to think about. Some things I try to do, but it's difficult given the global nature of my problem. Also, my husband isn't aware that I still have the problem. For one thing I'm reasonably good at doing the "as-if" auto pilot stuff. And for another, as you astutely recognized, control helps more than anything. So on the surface I would appear to be eager, if anything. Since I do not in any way want him to know, enlisting his cooperation has to be done subtly.
