I'm thinking of joining a Tai Chi class at the beginning of June (I got on holiday for 2 weeks in 2 weeks time, so want to wait till I return from that)
I am *really* unfit, and can't afford gym fee's.. I am trying to walk for 30 mins a day, but I live in Central London, and wlaking around streets of houses and shops really isn't very exciting!!
So I was thinking Tai Chi would be a nice easy exercise to do till I get my fitness levels up a bit more. Plus, I've heard really good things about his holistic benefits.
And I have *terrible* posture, and am starting to get a buffolo hump (well, its already quite noticable, and while I am over weight I don't think that can be the only cause of it. And I'm only 28).. I thought of other martial arts to help this, but our local Karate class in mainly made up on 6 year olds, and I don't feel fit enough for anything like that.Anyone have any good / negative comments to make on Tai Chi?? I've only heard good things, and as I don't have much money to spare, I don't want to waste it.
Thanks all
