I agree with all the other posters- you have nothing to worry about. We went through something similar recently- my husband was attempting to get a high dollar life insurance policy and tested high for blood pressure. Since he's tested normally for years (and also has gone through a lot of stress recently), his dr. suggested testing it at home, then coming back for another reading when he felt more in control (it was normal and he got his policy). The bottom line is 1 test does not give a diagnosis (especially since you knew the reasons why it was probably high). Try to calm yourself and take it again at a better time of day and I'm sure it will test within normal range. take care, judy
