Hi Krissy P,
Setting boundaries is good but you, like me, sometimes wait too long and instead we slam people too hard. I think depression is like addiction in that we can let ourselves get to hungry, angry, lonely, or tired, HALT.
You neighbor sounds like an ass but a dog barking, depending on how much, will drive anyone nuts. I had to give away a dog several years ago because I didn't have space for him to run. He would bark all day and I got complaints. I ran an add in the paper and gave Maggie to a great family with kids, other Blue Heelers, and room. It was best but I miss her. I have a cat now. : )
On the anger thing, we may have to pump iron an hour a day to get it out but anger is our enemy. We eventually somehow turn it back on ourselves.
I don't blame you for being angry but you don't want a neighbor to harm your pet either.I'll write later, sorry, work calls.
We all get that kind of irritation daily. Learning how to deal with it while keeping our cool is critical. It's not easy.
Peace..out
