I use a chat site, its an American chat site, but I've been using it, or its sister sites, for 6 1/2 years now. I have got to know many many people, some better than others.
Theres a message board there, much bussier than this one, but one I love being part of. Its un-moderated, so has it dodgy moments, but there are such an amazing mixture of people, races, religions etc that discussion there can be so stimulating.
One lady there was a regualr poster. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone it seemed, often posting wonderful things ont he board. Sometimes standing up for her beliefs, harranged by others for what she posted, but one of those people that stick out.
Today I go to the board, and I see a post with her name in the subject line.
Last week, this lovely lady died.
And now I feel.. I don't know. I don't even know what she looks like, or what state in the US she lived in. I feel so sad, but what right do I have to feel this way about someone I knew nothing about.
*sighs* Things are just so so sad at the moment.
