I'm sorry I haven't been around. I'm trying to deal with a death in the family. My cousin, in his mid twenties, was shot to death by 2 police officers. My cousin was having serious drug problems & lost his father not long ago. These undercover narcotic agents in street clothes approached him, he tried to run & jump over a fence. One of the officers grabbed him & my cousin was carrying a gun, it fell out of his waistband. Both of them tried to grab the gun, my cousin grabbed it first & pointed it, so the officers shot him in the head & back with their guns. Investigations are going on right now. We aren't sure if the officers identified themselves as officers. My cousin may have thought it was two guys trying to jump him....it's a long story. The strange thing is, these officers said my cousin was facing them & pointing a gun at one of them, but he was shot in the back of the head & his back. Strange. The officers are under investigation right now & suspended from duty.
I'm not saying what my cousin did was right. He should have never had the gun, & was heavily into illegal drugs. I just miss him.
Talk about a shocking experience. I never thought this would be something that would happen in my family. I don't know what my cousin was thinking. I loved him dearly. It's been hard.
Right now I am going through some serious depression & anxiety. I just keep wishing that I will wake up & this was all just a horrible nightmare.
I have my son this week, he is on spring break so I'm trying to "act" as normal as possible. I'm happy to have him, we are doing lots of fun stuff, & its keeping my mind off of other things.
